Contacts from Public Categories remain in your Contact File when you go offline (suspend communication with a Public Contact Server). When you’re offline, however, you can continue to modify Contacts that reside on Public Contact Servers, and even create new Public Contacts. This process is useful when you want to work in Now Contact while traveling.

  3. Public Contacts that you create or modify while offline are automatically sent to the Public Contact Server when you launch Now Contact and resume communication with the Server. Your new or modified Public Contacts then become available to all other network users.

  5. NOTE: Disconnecting from a Public Contact Server is not the same as going offline. When you disconnect from a Server, the Public Contacts you subscribe to are no longer available in your Contact File.
